The majority of Android devices come with a pre-installed battery optimizer that oversees the device's applications to save battery power. However, this feature can be problematic as it automatically shuts down background apps, including fitness and mileage tracking apps like Kliks. As a result, there may be missing coordinates and overlooked trips. Although the specific settings vary for each device, you can typically locate them under Battery Optimization, Doze, (Deep) Sleeping apps, or Battery Saver. This article aims to assist you in locating and excluding Kliks from the battery optimization settings on your Android phone.
