Yes, they can. The date in which they submit those trips for approval is what determines which payment period the trip falls in. Note: if a company is setup using the Ad Hoc payment schedule, then the above is moot. Ad Hoc allows users to submit trips freely and whenever, same with manager approval and payroll file downloading.
