Kliks uses data from Google Maps so if an address is not recognized by Google Maps, Kliks will not recognize it. As Google Maps data is updated, Kliks will be able to automatically use the data (i.e., new addresses).
If this occurs, you may experience one or more of following:
- A street name will not appear as your trip start / end location. Instead, you may see "Unnamed Rd."
- The nearest / approximate location is used as your start / end location.
- If your company is using our CRM integration feature and your trip location matches an address from your CRM system, Kliks may not mark the trip as matching the CRM address (CRM Match = true). If this occurs, it is because the nearest location saved to your trip was greater than 250 meters from the CRM address.
Some examples where an unknown address can occur:
- Parking lot at a mall.
- New commercial or residential development that has a new address and is not yet recognized by Google Maps.
