Android has a built-in feature that will automatically stop apps from running the background. Unfortunately, Kliks cannot control when Android does this.

There are several reasons an Android device may prevent Kliks from running continuously. The following list may help to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. There are too many apps running on the device.  To mitigate the chance Android stops Kliks from running in the background, shut down (force stop) apps that are running in the background on the device. The way in which you force stop an app depends on which Android version and device (Samsung, Pixel, etc.) you are using. For more info on how to force stop an app, view article 1 or article 2.
  2. If your mobile device is low on memory (RAM), Android will stop the Kliks app from running in the background. This usually occurs when there are a lot of apps running in the background at the same time.
  3. You are signed out of the app. It's important to double-check that you are signed into the app on your device.
