Overview

When managers review and approve trips, Kliks automatically calculates the average stop duration between trips to help managers understand how long their team is stopping at each location. This Kliks Insight allows managers to understand and perhaps improve their team's productivity.

How Stop Duration Average is Calculated

When trips are recorded and saved, Kliks calculates the stop duration for all trips (business, commute, personal, etc.). This calculation is done by checking if there was a previous trip on the same day, if there was, then Kliks calculates the difference (in minutes) between the Stop time of the previous trip and the Start time of the trip that was just recorded.

When a user (aka a driver) submits trips for approval, Kliks calculates the average stop duration via the following:

[Sum of Stop Durations] / [Number of Trips in Receipt] = Stop Duration Average
