Trip Stop Duration (TSD) is what the Kliks mobile app uses to determine when to 'stop' recording a trip. When the app is recording a trip and you have stopped driving, the Kliks app will wait until you have been stationary for the number of minutes that matches your TSD setting (for example, 15 minutes). Once this occurs, the Kliks app will consider your trip to have finished, and the trip will be saved to your account.

Kliks sets the default TSD to 15 minutes. If you would like to increase or decrease this setting, it can be done via the Trip Recording page.

Note, the TSD is only used for automatic trip recording.

Example:

John arrives at his first appointment at 9 am. John's Trip Stop Duration is set to 10 minutes. At approximately 9:10 am John's completed trip will be saved and appear on the Trips page.

Susan makes frequent delivery stops that are less than 10 minutes. She wants to have one continuously recorded trip. If each stop is 10 minutes or less, Susan will set TSD to 20 or 25 minutes so her delivery route will reflect as one trip on her trips page. If Susan wanted every stop to be separated and recorded as a single trip, her TSD should be set to 10 minutes or less in order for the Kliks app to detect each trip stop.

The Trip Stop Duration setting can be found on the trip recording page on Kliks web and mobile apps:
