What settings should I use for the Kliks Mileage Tracking app on Android?
The Kliks Mileage Tracking app works best on Android 10 or newer. If you’re using an older device or operating system, please contact our support team—we can provide an alternate version of the app that’s compatible with your device.
If you’re installing and logging in to the app for the first time, make sure the following settings are configured:
Auto Record: Set Auto Record to True during your business hours so the app can track trips automatically. If you prefer, you can turn Auto Record off at any time and use Manual Tracking instead.
Trip Stop Duration: Set this to 10–15 minutes. This determines the minimum time the app waits before marking a trip as completed.
Time Zone: Ensure your Time Zone is set correctly so trips and timestamps are recorded accurately.
These settings help the app track your mileage reliably and ensure accurate trip reporting.
Required Android Permissions
To ensure the Kliks Mileage Tracking app works correctly, make sure the following permissions are set to “Allowed” on your device. You can update these by going to:
Settings → Apps → Kliks → Permissions
Location
Physical Activity
Camera
These permissions enable accurate trip tracking, activity detection, and document/photo uploads within the app.
Within the Location permission ensure that it is set to "Allow all the time"
Trips are recorded and will show up in the Trips tab
