Trip Recording Options

The Kliks mobile app lets you choose how and when trips are recorded:

  • Automatic (recommended) – Kliks detects when you start driving and records trips for you.

  • Manual – You start and stop trip recording yourself.

Automatic Trip Recording

When set to Automatic, Kliks will automatically track your mileage based on your preferences.

You can customize:

  • Days of the week – Choose which days to record trips.

  • Start and end times – Set your business hours for automatic recording.

  • Trip stop duration – Decide how long you need to be stopped (5–25 minutes) before Kliks ends the trip.

Default settings:

  • Monday–Friday

  • 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

➡️ Example: Kliks will automatically record your trips only during weekdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

You can still manually start or stop recording anytime using the Record page in the app.

Manual Trip Recording

If you prefer full control, use Manual mode. This lets you start and stop trip recording whenever you choose — perfect for business trips outside your normal hours.

To enable manual mode:

  1. Open the app settings.

  2. Turn off “Set business hours to auto record.”

That’s it! You’ll now record trips manually.
